Orange Tang Smoothie

orange-tang-smoothie The fruity flavor of the orange juice blends well with the buttermilk and you can hardly tell that there is any buttermilk in there. This smoothie makes a nice nutritious treat for a small child who is not feeling well and aids digestion.

Orange Tang Smoothie Recipe

Servings: 1 Serving


  • half 6-0z can frozen orange juice concentrate, slightly defrosted
  • 1 cup chilled buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. honey
  • 2 scoops orange or pineapple lemon sherbert
  • ice, to serve
  • orange slices to decorate
  • 2 tsp. wheat germ (optional)


Place the orange juice, buttermilk, honey, wheatgerm (if using) and sherbert into your blender and process until smooth and frothy.

Pour into an ice-filled glass. Decorate with orange slices.
